Winners of the above classes are eligible to compete in Best of Breed. Only undeafeated dogs are eligible for Best of Breed.
NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES
As the judge’s decision in the Non-Regular Classes involving Multiple Dog Entries is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in these classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.
STUD DOG CLASS – For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class, the Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get.
BROOD BITCH CLASS – Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.
BRACE CLASS – Two dogs of the same Breed or Variety of Breed with one or more common owner and both dogs must be entered in another class.
TEAM CLASS – A Class for four dogs of the same Breed or Variety of Breed with one or more common owner and all dogs must be entered in another class.
BEST PUPPY IN REGULAR CLASSES - Best Puppy will be selected from the winners of the Puppy Classes (6-9; 9-12) following judging of Best of Breed Competition. If Winners Dog or Winners Bitch is selected from the Puppy Class, it is automatically Best Puppy of its sex. If Winners Dog or Winners Bitch is not selected from the Puppy Class, and Reserve Winners Dog or Reserve Winners Bitch is selected from the Puppy Class, then Reserve Winners Dog or Reserve Winners Bitch automatically becomes Best Puppy of its sex. Best male puppy and best female puppy will compete for Best Puppy in Puppy Classes following the Best of Breed Competition. If Best of Breed or Best of Winners is from a puppy class, it is automatically Best Puppy In Classes.
BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR – Bred By Exhibitor Dog Class First Place and Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Class First Place will compete for Best Bred By Exhibitor following the judging of the Best Puppy competition. If Best of Breed or Best of Winners is from the Bred By Exhibitor class, it is automatically the Best Bred By Exhibitor.
AWARDS OF MERIT – At the discretion of the judge, up to five (5) Award(s) of Merit from the dogs/bitches in the Best of Breed Competition may be awarded. A dark green rosette will be awarded to each dog receiving an Award of Merit.
